I’m very pleased to share that the 8th graders will be going to see the Georgia Shakespeare Tavern’s production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Seeing a staged version of the novella will provide a valuable complement to our reading in class together (and, perhaps, our viewing of a few clips from famous film adaptations).

The performance will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, 6 December. Scholars will depart campus at 9:00 am and return around 1:30 pm. The cost of the trip, including the price of admission and a chartered bus, is $40. Please also note that attire for the trip, as befits a dramatic performance, is dress uniform.
