Michael Jones is Senior Vice-President and Global Innovation Business Partner with The Nielsen Company where he and his teams provide C-level consultancy, strategic planning and SaaS solutions to multi-national Fast Moving Consumer Goods, retail, financial services, media, technology, hospitality, restaurants, life-sciences, apparel and telecommunications clients. Prior to Nielsen, Mike served in a number of global marketing, innovation and sales roles including: SVP and General Manager – Americas for Affinnova, Inc., SVP Strategic Marketing and Asst. GM for Tarkett Sports, and Vice-President, Integrated Marketing for Coca-Cola's North America Division. Mike, his wife, Cindy, and children are parishioners at The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus in downtown Atlanta where he has actively served as Pastoral Council Chair, Capital Campaign Co-Chair, Strategic Planning Chair, and currently coordinates Communications Strategies and co-leads the training and coordination of Altar Servers. He and Cindy were the Co-Presidents of The Parent Volunteer Association at HSP in 2012 where they also Co-Chaired the Annual Fund Campaign in 2011. Mike and Cindy's children attended Holy Spirit Preparatory School from kindergarten through 12th grade: Maddalena (Class of 2021) and Daniel (Class of 2022). Mike is also currently the leader of the Atlanta Catholic Business Breakfast. Begun in 2004, the Catholic Business Breakfast gathers an Atlanta network of 1200+ business leaders striving to better integrate their Catholic faith into their everyday lives with family, friends, and work. Since 2011, Mike has served as a mentor for the Catholic Charities Leadership Class, which provides an opportunity for senior Catholic business leaders to serve as mentors to high potential young Catholics in Atlanta who wish to develop their servant leadership skills within their organization. In addition to his work within the Atlanta Catholic Community, Mike's philanthropic support extends to his role as a member of the Honorary Board of The Atlanta Ballet, where he previously served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees and leader of the marketing committee. Mike holds an Executive Leadership Certification from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia.
