Congratulations, Class of 2016

Lauren Bohling is the valedictorian of the Class of 2016. Lauren has attended Holy Spirit Prep since ninth grade. She served as Holy Spirit Prep's Head Girl, and is a member of Alpha Phi, HSP's service sorority; a student ambassador; a member of the Latin, Math, and National Honor Societies; and is involved in the Pro-Life Apostolate. Lauren has accepted an offer of enrollment from Georgia Tech, where she will attend the Scheller College of Business. She has been invited onto the Georgia Tech cheer squad. Lauren will deliver the closing address at Holy Spirit Prep's commencement exercises on May 31.

Sarah Verlander is the salutatorian of the Class of 2016. She has attended Holy Spirit Prep since 5th grade, and is the president of Alpha Phi, and a member of the Pro-Life Apostolate, Quiz Bowl, National Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. She is an accomplished ballerina - the principal soloist of the Callanwolde Dance Ensemble - and a Sunday School teacher for 1st- and 2nd-graders at the Cathedral of Christ the King. Sarah will also attend Georgia Tech, where she will study Biology. She will deliver the opening address at HSP's commencement exercises.

Matthew Kelly is the guest speaker for the Class of 2016's commencement exercises. Born in Sydney, Australia, Kelly is an internationally acclaimed speaker, author, and business consultant. Kelly is the founder of The Dynamic Catholic Institute, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to re-energize the Catholic Church in America by developing world-class resources that inspire people to rediscover the genius of Catholicism.

Kelly is also a partner at Floyd Consulting, a Chicago-based management consulting firm. His clients include: Pepsi, Procter and Gamble, FedEx, HSBC, the Department of Defense, McDonalds, US Bank, 3M, Ernst & Young, the U.S Navy, the U.S. Air Force, Michelin, and more than fifty other Fortune 500 companies.

Holy Spirit Prep's Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31, at 10:00am.
