Lower-Schoolers Collect Goods for Super Kids-Super Sharing

Posted: 1/21/2019

This January, the Lower School’s House of Nicaea teamed up with the National Football League, the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee, Verizon, and Infinite Energy Center’s Forum for a Super Bowl community initiative that benefits local children in need. The House of Nicaea contributed to the Super Bowl donation project called Super Kids-Super Sharing.

Students collected gently used (or new) books, sports equipment, school supplies, and games. Donated items were distributed to local schools and youth programs that serve children in need. Organizers estimated that, in total, more than 40,000 items had been donated.
