Clay Shooter Scores Perfect Round

Posted: 10/9/2019

The varsity clay targets team competed on September 14 in an event at Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds. The top three overall shooters from our school were Sam Williams, Max Bendig, and Hector Padilla.

The team has demonstrated a huge improvement from earlier competitions by scoring within just 10 points out of second place for the event. Sam Williams shot a perfect round, 25 out of 25, on the Skeet Field marking the first time one of our team members had a perfect score in a competition in the three years we have been participating in the GISA league. Outstanding accomplishment, Sam Williams!

The next clay targets competition will be Saturday, October 12, at Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds off Camp Creek Parkway. Come on out, it is a great spectator sport!
